The energy transition and continuous development of renewable energy are pressing issues. Given this, the question of how to create a favorable environment for green energy development and assist businesses in implementing compliance has become a key concern for every sector. Today (July 17th), Taipower held an enterprise integrity forum on green energy development, to which Taipower invited key public and private organizations involved in green energy development. These included the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, as well as the District Prosecutors’ Offices of Taipei and New Taipei City. The forum focused on cross-sector exchanges on topics such as streamlining government services in line with the energy transition, green energy-related crimes, whistleblower protections, and corporate ethical management. The forum was focused on collaboration to prevent green energy crimes and promoting sustainable development and operations, for industry and enterprises alike.

Taipower Chairman Tseng Wen-Sheng stated in his speech that the green energy power market continues to open and develop. In response to compliance issues, he hopes to have greater cooperation with ethics agencies and the Ministry of Justice to jointly build a reasonable, law-abiding, sustainable power market.
