After successfully replanting the rare native 'Formosan soy beans' in 2013 and rebuilding the old post office by the front gate into 'Environmental Education Station' in 2015, Taipower Wanda Power Station, with the efforts made together with professionals, experts, local teachers & students and community residents during the past 700 days, has trained seed teachers in environmental education and designed six environmental education curriculums for the establishment of the first 'Ecological Green Energy' environmental educational facility site in Taiwan. The educational facility site obtained Environmental Protection Administration's Environmental Education Certification in mid-2017 and its unveiling ceremony was officiated by Taipower Chairman Zhu Wen-cheng today (20170906). Through Wanda Power Station's 'green action', Taipower's philosophy of seeking the mutualism between power generation and the nature as well as the determination of becoming a 'green enterprise' is manifested.
