Taipower has launched a collaborative cross-disciplinary Arts and Humanities Promotion Program with National Palace Museum since 2014, which, through the use of electric and digital technologies, has provided opportunities for more people to appreciate the national treasures in the museum. The accumulated number of visitors of the previous 'Light Up National Treasures' exhibition and 'National Treasures For FUN' special exhibition in south border Pingtung was around 60,000. Taipower stated that the new media art exhibition 'Fun with Power' co-organized by Taipower, National Palace Museum and Taitung County Government has integrated the national treasures in National Palace Museum with new media interactive art such as AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality), etc. as well as the local 'ocean elements' in Taitung, by which visitors are able to interact with the treasures which have existed since the past centuries. This exhibition is the first 'eastbound trip' for National Palace Museum in its nearly 100- year history. The public are welcome to visit from 30/May/2018 to 29/Jul./2018 at Taitung Art Museum for free.
Taipower conducted the unveiling ceremony of the new media art exhibition 'Fun with Power' with National Palace Museum and Taitung County Government today (20180529) in preparation for its official launch tomorrow. Taipower's Vice President Li Hongzhou, who represented the company in this event, said that the rare treasures in National Palace Museum symbolized the essence of Chinese culture. Taipower hoped that through the assistance of electric and digital technologies, the national treasures can be appreciated not only in National Palace Museum but also in Taitung where visitors can enjoy 'nice mountains, nice water' and also 'nice arts'.
