Energy Type Energy Subtype Generating unit Installed nameplate capacity(Remark I) Power generation(Remark II) Power generation/Installed nameplate capacity(%)(Remark III) Remark

Remark I:
Installed nameplate capacity: The nominal capacity of a prime motor or a generating unit (rated output on nameplates), or the sum of the installed capacity of all power plants in a power system. Regarding IPP, the installed capacity is counted on of basis of the signed purchase contract.

Remark II:
Net power generation: The amount of electricity generated by a power plant (total gross generation − power consumption within the plant).

Remark III: Following reasons result in the net power generation exceeds the installed nameplate capacity:
(1) The actual generation of the updated nuclear generating unit exceeds its planned nominal capacity.
(2) Affected by the upgraded accessories or parts, low temperature, and generating unit efficiency tests, some thermal units may achieve a higher net power generation than its installed capacity. However, the excess generation is usually temporary and does not affect the amount of energy purchased from the IPPs.
(3) CHP purchased is residual electricity, which contributes to power generation. Trash and biogas power is included in installed capacity.

Remark IV: Penghu-jianshan: Includes Jianshan Thermal Power Plant only.
Kinmen-Tashan: All the power plants in Kinmen.
Masu-Zhushan: Power plants in Beigan, Nangan, and Zhushan.
Other outlying Islands: Islands:Green Island, Orchid Island (Lanyu), Liuqiu Island, Lienchiang County[Masu](Dongyin,
Dongju, Xiju) and Penhu Islands(Qimei, Wangan, Huching)
※The figures displayed are gross total generation.

Remark V: For the gas turbine generating unit using for the black start in the nuclear power plants, the net peaking capacity is 155 MW. Its installed capacity is not counted into that of Taipower system, while its generation is counted into the oil-fired power generation.

Remark VI: Small hydro in northern region: Yuanshan, Tianpi, Ruanqiao, Shíh Zun communication pipe.
Small hydro in central region: Houli, Sheliao, Jingshan, Beishan, Zhuoshui,Hushan,NanTou JiJiSouthCoast.
Small hydro in southern region: Liugui, Jhumen.
Small hydro in eastern region: Tungmen, Longxi, Shuilian, Qingshui, Qingliu, Chuying, Rongshu, Xikou, Dongxing.

Remark VII: Solar power procurement: the generation data is estimated on the basis of the sampled regional solar purchase amount. Please refer to the homepage for the number of purchases: Information Disclosure->Power Generation Information ->Electricity Purchase Overview.

Remark VIII: N/A means no real-time net power generation data.

Remark IX: The data is updated every 10 minutes. Please refresh the page for latest information.

Remark X: The power generation of the specific power plant ((generating unit)) is not counted into the installed nameplate capacity and not displayed its generation percentage when it is in the testing (trial run) process of replacing/acquiring the electricity licence.

Remark XII: Since 2024, the Xingda#3 and Xingda#4 will not operate during the first or last quarter of a year. These units were converted into an emergency power facility in 2025. When the estimated spinning reserve rate is less than 8% during the second or third quarter of a year, these units will be started up.

Remark XIII: Units with a capacity of more than 20MW and connected to a voltage level of more than 69 kilovolts are presented separately, and the remaining are combined with a piece of data.

Remark XIV: The Dalin#5 plant was decommissioned on 31 December 2022 and turned into an emergency power facility.

Remark XV: The Xingda#1 and Xingda#2 were decommissioned on 30 September 2023 and 31 December 2023 respectively. Furthermore, the Xingda#1 and Xingda#2 were turned into an emergency power facility.

Remark XVI: Battery refers to "energy battery storage system" and its capacity is determined by the winning result of the TPC Energy Trading Platform E-dReg in that hour.
